Even the healthiest and happiest of dogs face the all-too-common threat of parasites. A parasite is an organism that lives and feeds off a host (eg: your dog). Some parasites, such as fleas and ticks, live on the skin of their host. Others, primarily worms, live inside the body and can cause serious damage to organs. And mosquitoes don’t live on or in your dog, but they can still live off your dog by feeding on its blood.

Parasites can cause all kinds of problems for dogs. If left untreated, they can lead to serious disease and, in some cases, death. Fortunately, there are many effective products designed to control and/or treat parasites.
