What’s bothering my dog’s ears?

You may have noticed your dog scratching his ears a lot lately. Perhaps the inside of his ears are red or inflamed. Maybe you’ve even detected an odor or some discharge coming from his ears. What could be the problem?

Dogs’ ears can be bothered by a number of things—ear infections, debris, mites and ticks, or other disorders. Although floppy-eared dogs are more prone to ear problems, any breed of dog can be affected.

Below are some products that Virbac has developed to treat ear conditions in dogs. If you have questions about any of these treatments, be sure to talk with your veterinarian. As with any treatment, always listen to your veterinarian’s instructions and read the product label.
