Cats can get dandruff?
Yes, flakes can appear on a cat’s fur in much the same way specks of dandruff can in human hair. This can happen when an excess of dry, dead skin is shed, which can cause flakes, as well as itchiness.
Fortunately, whether your cat’s skin is too dry or too greasy, it can usually be restored to a healthy sheen with the help of specially formulated shampoos.
Below are some products that Virbac has developed to keep your cat’s skin and coat healthy and looking good. If you have questions about any of these treatments, be sure to talk with your veterinarian. As with any treatment, always listen to your veterinarian’s instructions and read the product label.
